The Bailey Band is an eclectic alternative folk ensemble powered by acoustic guitars and piano.

The music is “alternative” because it isn’t really folk, and it is “folk” because they cannot come up with a decent alternative. What it amounts to is a crowd-pleasing catalog of fresh and original songs covering a wide variety of genres.

Fronting the band is 18-year-old Bailey Mattson on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, flanked by her sister, Olivia, on piano and her father, Brian, on lead acoustic guitar. Joining this core trio are local legends Parker Brown and Pat Epley (Parker Brown & The Bleeding Hearts, The Hellroaring).

Their debut album, “Someone You Can See,” is scheduled for release Spring of 2025.
